Abby is 3!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe that my baby is 3. The years are starting to go by a little too quickly. She is at the age where she understands what birthdays are...and what comes w/ them: balloons, cake, ice cream, and PRESENTS!! She has been talking about her birthday for MONTHS! She originally wanted a Dora birthday party...then Tinker Bell, then Princess, then Barney, then Dora. And then one day, when we went to look at party plates, she saw it. Diego party decor. From that moment on, she would have nothing else. She wanted a Diego birthday party! Now...this choice made things a little hard for me. Abigail is *very* picky about what she wears...or really anything that is hers. She's very much so a girly little girl. If something is blue, she questions if it really belongs to her, because that's a boy color, and Gideon is a boy, and Gideon gets the boy colors...so it must really belong to Gideon, haha. There's a pair of blue floral jammies that dread coming to in her pajama rotation. Without fail, we have at least a 5 minute argument over who they really belong to. In the end, I convince her that the flowers are princess flowers on princess blue jammies...and then we're good. Well...girly Diego shirts do NOT exist. I had to find an orange tutu, and iron on patch, and white t-shirt to make little Abby happy :-P. She wanted to wear that outfit every day up until her party. Anyhow...here are a few shots from her birthday weekend :-).

We went to Chucky Cheeses the Saturday before her birthday. Abigail LOVED it! She had a ball playing games with her daddy, eating pizza, and meeting Chucky. Gideon, on the other hand, was a little terror. I could write a whole other post about him...such a little monster, haha. Christian let her have a soda, and boy, did she feel like it was the most amazing treat ever!! It was just a root bear...but to her it was liquid gold.

On Monday, Abby had two little friends come over for her Diego party and had a blast. I wish I had taken a picture, but her birthday cake said, "Happy 3rd Birthday Abigail and Ongre." When I ordered the cake, I told them that I wanted it to say "Happy 3rd Birthday" in orange letters. Well...I guess the guy wrote down "Happy 3rd Birthday Abigail in orange" and either he couldn't spell, or the person who made the cake couldn't read or spell. Christian was able to get most of it off, and I got a cake for 1/2 off, whoohoo.
