Well, I haven't taken any pictures today, so, I guess that makes me bad, haha. But, I do have a few pictures from these past couple of weeks that I haven't been able to share, yet.

The first one is of Abby's new bow holder that I MADE! Yay...I'm proud of myself. I guess I shouldn't brag too much, since, all I had to do was hot glue three pieces of ribbon to a wooden letter "A". If you remember the previously mentioned trip to Target when Abby had a major meltdown, that is when I found the wooden "A" for A DOLLAR, yippee! I already had the ribbon at home, so, it was cheap to make :-D.

The second picture is from last Saturday. I had a work meeting from 9 am to 12 pm. After the meeting, I stopped by Jessica's for a little bit, and then, came home! Nothing too exciting, but, I did dress Abby up in the dress that Aunt Krissy got her the weekend before. If you haven't been able to tell yet, I love dressing Abby up. It's kind of my hobby. I love to find great bargains on good quality things...and I do, too often. Gymboree is my downfall, I think I might get a job there when Christian comes home. I need to satisfy my obsession by dressing other people's kids. Though, I usually get everything for more than 60% off, so, the employee discount would not be as great.

I'm excited about tomorrow through next Friday. Tomorrow I will be picking Krissy up so that she can come down to Colorado Springs to help me prepare for my sisters and cousin coming into town. And, of course, so she can hang out with me and pretty much stay until the girls leave, teehee. Heather, Lauren, and Alex, will come in Friday evening!!!!!!!!!!! On Saturday, Bruce, Lynda, and Zach will come to Colorado Springs, as well, to celebrate Easter. Heather and Lauren have to sadly leave Sunday afternoon. I wish that they could stay longer! But, they will just have to miss out on all of the fun that Alex, Kris, Abby, and I will have, hehe. J/K!!!! I love my family!

Oh, and for exciting news about Abigail. She is learning how to pull up. I'm scared because that means that walking is not too far away, as well as falling, toppling, and furniture replacement. I'm thinking that I'll just wrap everything in bubble wrap and duct tape!!!

I'm on cloud niiiiiiiiiine

If you are wondering about my title, I just got off of Skype from talking to Christian. I always feel elated when I get to talk to and see him. It's just so reassuring!!!

We had a blizzard yesterday, so, I may not have to go to work today, yay....we'll see how that pans out later on.

Yesterday, after I got off of work, I had a few errands to run w/ Abby. The first was to a bank on the south side of town. After I went there, I drove the few miles to order my contacts. As I was pulling into the eye care center, I notice very large and very obvious Chase bank next door....mrah, the exact bank that I had wasted 20 minutes driving to. I was so annoyed, that, instead of driving all the way to Walmart for the third errand...I decided that I would go to Target, which, is in the same plaza. I thought that that would make me feel better, but, I was even more annoyed that I could have just gone to one place to get everything done.

Anyways, while looking at hand vacuums in Target, Abigail had a MELTDOWN. She didn't want to nurse (WHAT???), she didn't want a Cheerio (DOUBLE WHAT!!?!?!?!?!?), and she didn't want to sleep (kind of typical). I didn't know what to do, but, if you've heard that child scream, it's blood curdling. I had all sorts of women come over to see if I needed help, they actually looked frightened. I tried to remain composed and collected and let them know that everything was okay and that Abigail was not injured, just throwing a fit. Anyways, Abby finally took to her paci, and along with me bouncing her around she calmed down. While I was putting Abby in her carseat, she began screaming again, I couldn't find the pacifier that she spit out, so, I stuck my finger in her mouth to calm her while I frantically looked for the pacifier. Lo and Behold, I felt the ridges of HER FIRST TOOTH!!! That explained everything and I promptly fed the poor child some teething tablets!

Abby is such a good baby. She never really fussed through teething until it actually broke skin. I felt so bad when we got home that I gave her ice water, rubbed her gums, more teething tablets and even tylenol. She also took the longest nap EVER. I would say around 3 hours. Christian noticed that she looked larger and different from the last time he saw her on Skype, so, she's changing fast :-(.

The pictures that I'm putting up are from Tuesday at work and this past Sunday. Krissy came to visit us, and, after church on Sunday, I drove her up to Denver. On our way there, we stopped at the Castle Rock outlet mall (hehehehe). Surprisingly, I didn't buy Abby anything, instead, I picked up a few things for Christian and me. Sadly, I was not able to find royal blue shoes for Christian :-(. He really might just have to ductape the ones that he has, haha. I feel like I'm shopping for a three year old when it comes to Christian and shoes. He's so picky!

Anyhoo, after Castle Rock, we headed to Denver to meet Zach (Krissy's boyfriend) for dinner. Kristen has a friend from Pensacola who manages a restaurant, so, that's where we went. Yay for discounts!!! It was yummy and Abby even managed to swipe a few fries.

A few pictures of Abby recently. You can really tell that she is beginning to look more and more like her daddy!!!

I'm a horrible mom, haha.

I had today off of work and desperately needed to clean. This is how I was able to distract Abby for a little while. She is watching baby Einsteins and literally swimming in Cheerios. I had to take her out of the Bumbo because the Cheerios somehow ended up under her and she was sliding all over the place, haha. She is now happily sitting on the blanket surrounded by Cheerios and toys. It's funny because as I am typing this, I can hear her fuss for about two seconds, silence, and then smacking, haha. I'm sure her train of thought is, "I want to be held, I want to be held! Oh, a Cheerio! Mmmmmmm!"

A continuation.

Here are a few more pictures from today in Boulder and also of Abby talking to Daddy...sort of, haha.

A Day in Boulder

Today, Lynda, Abby, and I went to Boulder for the day. We went to The Falafel for lunch and ate outside on Pearl Street. It was such a GORGEOUS day! I couldn't get over how warm it was. I wish I had brought sun screen, because, now my back is burnt, haha. Abby got to sit in the grass for the first time and had so much fun. All of the musicians and performers were out, as well, which made the day extra special. I love Boulder so much! I hope that Christian and I can live closer to that area one day.

After we came home from Boulder, Christian called and we chatted with him on Skype for a little while. It's so neat to be able to see him as we talk. I'm so excited that we have less than two months until he is home again. After talking to him, I packed up the car and drove back to Colorado Springs. I wish time didn't fly so quickly when having fun. It was a much needed break, though, and I feel so rejuvenated.
