Tummy time and goodies

Yesterday I got a package from my mom with a few goodies. A new outfit for Abby, a blanket knit by my Great Grandmother (Mama Trick) and a pair of booties. The other pictures from today are of her doing a little bit of tummy time at home, which is rare, since Tupac enjoys leaping over her. I usually do this at work, where there are only other babies to beat her up.

My little Pumpkin

Even though Abby is still a little stuffy and sick, she's by far the cutest little pumpkin in the world. Here is a pictures from today before we left for work this morning.

Our weekend at Obasan's and Ogisan's

This weekend, Abigail, Tupac, and I drove up to see her grandparents. We had a lot of fun! Sadly, poor liitle Abigail caught a cold or something. She was so fussy on Sunday that I was nervous to get on the road, so, we stayed an extra day. She's feeling much better, but, still a little fussy. This morning while I was getting her ready for the drive home, she decided to tinkle all over the changing table and herself. I guess it was time for a bath, anyways. Does it make me a bad parent if I only give her one a week?

Oh, while were visiting we went to a children's consignment store and found so many things for Abby in the next size up. She's wearing her new hoodie three peice that we got for $10.00 in the pictures. They were taken a few moments ago..

Just a few pictures for my Dear Christian

Here are a few pictures from today. We did absolutely nothing other than tried for a few unsuccessful naps in order for mommy to be able to clean. The house is still a mess...

Abigail is so cute

Yesterday we went to see Aunt Krissy. While we were downtown we stumbled upon an awesome baby boutique. Krissy, bought the cute little baby legs that Abigail is sporting in the picture. She also got her some socks with mary janes painted on them and a monkey hoodie. It was so much fun. After our visit, we drove down to Obasan's and Ogisan's to spend the night.

Tupac's a Surgeon

Tupac decided to amputate his new stuffed lions leg. It's going right in the trash. See that pretty stuffing on the ground? Now, imagine that all over your teeny tiny apt. Bye bye Mr. Lion, you shall be missed.

I wasn't done showing off my baby

Just because I have the most adorable baby in the world...

It's been too long

Well, I keep forgetting to write daily like I should. It's been a fun filled weekend! On Friday, Lynda came down again, and, we went to Outback to eat dinner. Abigail was good, but, I had to feed her a few times in order for her to be happy. She really liked this one picture that was across from our booth. She kept staring at it in five minute stretches. I love that she becomes so focused on things, but, it makes me think of my a.d.d when I was younger. Here's to hoping that she doesn't have it, haha. I would concentrate so hard on one thing and tune the rest of the world out.

On Saturday, we spent the day driving along Gold Camp Road. It was SO BEAUTFUL. I loved the views of the trees in the mountains. It's absolutely breathtaking up there. We ended up in a little town that I can't remember the name of. It was cute, but, it started to rain not long after we got there. It was WAY too cold to walk around. As we were leaving, it started to hail quite a bit. I'm glad that we decided to leave when we did. All of this cold weather keeps reminding me that Abigail needs yet more things. Blah, babies are constantly growing and in need, hahaha.

We had a very busy day today. I had to mail out around 10 packages, then, I dropped off a movie from this past weekend. After that, I got my hair chopped off (I guess it is a mandatory new mommy thing...I've had enough of cleaning the spit up out and prying it from her death grip). I also bought her some new cold weather clothing...they stop growing at six months, right? She's FINALLY eating. She slept the whole time that we were out. No matter how many times I woke her up to feed, she would fall asleep after a few minutes. Let me tell you, no matter how many times you lead that darn horse to the water...you can't force it to drink, haha. I was able to actually fit my first meal of the day in at the mall as we were leaving. I hate spending money of fast food, but, I was about to pass out. That definitely isn't a good thing to do while driving, right?

The first picture below is from this past Saturday. O love that fleece outfit...she has three in different patterns just because it's so cuddly. You don't want to put her down because she is so soft and warm. Anywhoo...I'll add more pictures later.

Oh Hectic days.

Well, boo...supposedly my blog is locked, so, no one will be able to read this for a couple of days. How annoying. This week has been a little rough. Abigail has been unusually fussy, and I still haven't figured out what is wrong. It's not too bad, just a little tiring. She's taking a long nap right now, thank goodness, I've been able to have a little bit of time to myself and am getting some laundry done, hurray!! I accidentally didn't show up for work last night. I was so tired and forgot that I was working evenings. I'm really hoping that they were okay w/out me since those kiddies can get CRAZY! The past couple of Sundays have been non stop madness, haha.

Abigail is learning to smile and coo a little bit more every day. It makes me so happy, she's the most adorable little girl, hehe. The picture in the pink dress is from this past Sunday, Abigail is 7 weeks 2 days. The brown hoodie picture is from today, 7 weeks 4 days. I can't believe she is almost 2 months. This first year is going to go by so quickly, which, is sad because she'll grow before my eyes, but, happy because it'll make the time away from Christian go by faster! I can't wait until Abigail can spend more time with her daddy!!!

Oh, I learned how to make fried rice this past Saturday when Lynda came down. We also strolled down Old Colorado. I love that part of town!!! All of the little shops had their fall decorations outside their doors. We went to this very yummy breakfast and lunch place (I can't remember the name of this place) and then had some ice cream. We also stopped by the Farmer's market, where, we got some amazing deals on fruit since they were trying to clear out.

Abigail grew over night!

She looked a bit bigger this morning. It's crazy that babies seem to change so much just over night. She absolutely loves to share mommy's bed. It's sweet, but, it's hard to sleep at night when you have a precious baby curled up to you. She looked quite comfortable when I got up to take Tupac out this morning.

Abigail's Obasan (Grandmom) came to visit today and tomorrow. She's such a wonderful help, I always look forward to the Friday's that she comes down! We went to lunch at Panera Bread and then rented a couple of movies to watch while she was here.

Today was a long day. I don't know if Abigail is going through another growing spurt or not, but, since coming home from work we've been having a feeding marathon. She's so petite, but, such a little piggy. I mean, if you're going to eat that much, show some proof, haha.

She's growing out of her diapers, but, the next size up was huge, so, I had to get an in between size. She's modeling them in the picture. They're sooooo soft, not that anyone other than myself cares. I noticed that her arms are a little pudgier, yaaay. Can you tell?

I'm finding that it's becoming harder and harder to not have Christian here. I miss him so much!!! Only five more months till he is home for mid-tour!!!!!!!!
